This high-impact, hands-on role partners with the executive team to define organizational structure, performance frameworks, and company culture—ensuring our people systems enable Bedrock’s mission to accelerate ocean exploration through advanced robotics and technology.

Qualifications

• 8–12+ years HR experience with 3+ years in a director role.
• Experience scaling HR in tech/robotics or field operations.
• Strong understanding of hybrid/distributed teams and multi-state compliance.
• Proven ability to balance strategic initiatives with hands-on execution.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a long-term HR strategy aligned with Bedrock's mission.
• Lead organizational design, workforce planning, and talent strategy.
• Oversee onboarding, payroll, benefits, compliance, and risk.
