Job summary

Kiva Confections in California seeks a Director of People Operations & Culture to lead our People Functions across multi-state entities. You will shape strategy, build scalable systems, and partner with executives to align people priorities with growth while maintaining compliance and a high-trust culture.

The role oversees Talent Acquisition, HR Operations, Employee Relations, Performance, Total Rewards, Payroll, Benefits, Compliance, and Culture, and requires a Bay Area presence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience; SHRM-SCP or SPHR strongly preferred.
• 8+ years of progressive experience in Human Resources or People Operations.
• Experience with mergers, acquisitions, or integrations preferred.
• Cannabis, food & beverage, CPG, or other regulated manufacturing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead People Operations Strategy & Execution across multi-entity, multi-state organization.
• Lead the People Team, setting priorities and standards of excellence.
• Own Talent Acquisition, onboarding, and workforce planning end-to-end.
• Oversee Performance Management, Engagement & Development programs.
