Job summary

Lutheran Social Service of Minnesota is seeking an Associate Director of Growth, Data, & Research in Saint Paul, MN. The role leads data strategy for fundraising, outreach, and growth, translating complex data into insights for executives and program leaders.

The position oversees reporting, analytics, governance, and communications while managing the Growth Data and Research teams. A strong background in data management and leadership is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
• 7+ years of experience in development, fundraising operations, data management, sales support, outreach analytics, or a related field.
• 3+ years of database management or research experience; Raiser's Edge experience preferred.
• Experience leading teams, developing staff, managing priorities, and improving data operations.
• Demonstrated ability to analyze data and communicate clear, actionable findings through reports and dashboards.
• Ability to lead cross-functional work with multiple departments and leadership.

Responsibilities

• Own reporting, analytics, data governance, and data communications for fundraising, customer engagement, volunteerism, and growth functions.
• Provide strategic data and research support for fundraising, outreach, sales, volunteer engagement, and service-line operations.
• Lead the Growth Data and Research teams, ensuring accurate data management, gift entry and accounting, and mail list management.
