Job description

APi Elevator | Elevated Facility Services is seeking a Strategic Growth Associate to help drive the growth of our Elevator business, where we have a publicly stated goal of becoming a $1 billion platform. This role spans the full growth lifecycle: identifying and evaluating acquisition targets, leading due diligence, supporting the integration of acquired businesses, and partnering with Regional Sales Managers to build the initiatives and processes that deliver sustainable organic growth.

The Strategic Growth Associate works directly with executive leadership, business unit leaders, and APi Group Corporate Development. It offers broad exposure to leaders across the organization and a front-row seat to how a growing elevator services platform is built and scaled.

Key Responsibilities
  • Build and maintain the acquisition pipeline by identifying, screening, and prioritizing elevator service targets against strategic and financial criteria.
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to evaluate geographic expansion opportunities, new service lines, and vertical markets.
  • Support outreach and relationship development with prospective acquisition targets, brokers, and industry contacts.
  • Track pipeline status, deal activity, and market intelligence, and report on progress to leadership.
  • Lead due diligence workstreams, coordinating across finance, operations, HR, legal, and safety to assess target businesses.
  • Build financial models and synergy analyses to support investment decisions.
  • Identify key risks, value drivers, and integration considerations, and translate findings into clear recommendations.
  • Prepare investment memos and business cases for executive and APi Group review.
M&A Integration
  • Oversee integration project activities, ensuring alignment with strategy and business goals while meeting quality, schedule, budget, and standards requirements.
  • Develop integration plans with accurate timelines, and align activities and resources to established priorities.
  • Work with functional teams to identify and track risks, actions, issues, decisions, dependencies, and synergies.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor and connector across integration workstreams, promoting collaboration through transparency and frequent updates.
  • Guide adoption of integration tools, project management methodology, and business processes, providing training where needed.
  • Advocate for change management with empathy for the people and relationships affected.
  • Measure post-close performance against the deal thesis and capture lessons learned for future integrations.
Organic Growth & Sales Partnership
  • Partner with Regional Sales Managers to design, launch, and track initiatives that drive sustainable, margin-expansive organic growth, in line with our Maintenance is our Motor flywheel.
  • Develop strategies to sell modernization and repair work across the existing maintenance portfolio.
  • Analyze pricing, contract mix, customer segments, and win/loss data to uncover growth and margin opportunities.
  • Help build and standardize sales processes, pipeline reporting, and performance metrics across regions.
  • Build business cases for organic growth investments, including new service offerings, headcount, and market entry.
Executive Communication
  • Develop clear, concise presentations and analyses for the President and senior leadership.
  • Track and report growth KPIs, including revenue growth, market share, acquisition ROI, EBITDA improvement, and synergy realization.
Qualifications
Required
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, economics, or a related field.
  • 3–5 years of experience in corporate development, M&A, investment banking, private equity, strategy consulting, FP&A, or a related field.
  • Strong financial modeling skills, including synergy analysis and business case development.
  • Experience managing cross-functional projects, including timelines, risks, dependencies, and deliverables.
  • Ability to build trusted relationships and influence without direct authority.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills, with executive-level polish.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
Preferred
  • Experience in elevator, facility services, field services, or other route-based/recurring-revenue businesses.
  • Exposure to sales operations, pricing strategy, or commercial excellence initiatives.
