Job summary

The Vertex Companies LLC seeks a Strategic Graphic Design Consultant to craft persuasive visuals for high-stakes disputes and trials. You will transform complex facts and expert analyses into clear court-ready graphics, collaborating with attorneys, experts, and clients to strengthen case strategy.

Work closely with case teams on executive presentations and strategic communications, delivering under demanding deadlines and travel as required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, Information Design, Fine Arts, Communications, or a related field preferred.
• Experience in litigation graphics, trial consulting, visual communications, graphic design, or related professional services environment.
• Expert level PowerPoint required; strong proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite and other presentation, design, and visualization technologies preferred.
• Strong visual communication, project management, and client service skills, with ability to perform in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and maintain exceptional attention to detail.
• Experience in the litigation field preferred but not required; able to work in professional legal environments and adhere to standards of conduct and business attire for courtroom settings.

• Translate complex information into clear graphics on topics from technical data to medical illustrations.
• Ensure all visuals are accurate, compelling and aligned with client objectives and strategy.
• Support trial preparation, hearings, arbitrations, mediations, and courtroom presentations under tight deadlines.
• Travel to client locations, trial sites, and events as needed.

Job Description

The Vertex Companies is building a pipeline of Strategic Graphic Design professionals to support future growth within our Visual Communications practice. The Strategic Graphic Design Consultant supports attorneys, experts, Fortune 500 executives and litigation teams by developing compelling visual presentations for high-stakes disputes, investigations, arbitrations, mediations, and trials. Working closely with clients and case teams, this professional transforms complex facts, evidence, technical concepts, and expert analyses into persuasive visual communications that strengthen case strategy and improve audience understanding. In addition to litigation matters, the role may support strategic communications, executive presentations, and other high-impact client engagements.

Core Responsibilities

• Work Product Creation, Project Management, Coordination with Team Members
• Develop demonstrative exhibits, graphics, timelines, presentations, data visualizations, animations, and other visual communication materials for litigation and dispute-related matters to be displayed primarily in court.
• Collaborate with attorneys, experts, consultants, and clients to create persuasive visual strategies that communicate case themes and evidence.
• Simplify complex information into easily understandable graphics on topics ranging from complex technical data to medical illustrations.
• Ensure all visual deliverables are accurate, compelling, and aligned with client objectives and case strategy.
• Support trial preparation, hearings, arbitrations, mediations, witness examinations, and courtroom presentations, often under demanding deadlines.
• Travel to client locations, trial sites, and clients events as needed, sometimes extensively especially when supporting trials.

Qualifications & Competencies

• Bachelor's degree required; degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, Information Design, Fine Arts, Communications, or a related field preferred.
• Experience in litigation graphics, trial consulting, visual communications, graphic design, or a related professional services environment.
• Expert level experience PowerPoint required; strong proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite and other presentation, design, and visualization technologies preferred.
• Strong visual communication, project management, and client service skills, with the ability to perform effectively in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and maintain exceptional attention to detail.
• Experience in the litigation field preferred but not required. Ability to work effectively in professional legal environments and comply with required standards of conduct and business attire for regular courtroom appearances and client-facing responsibilities.
