Southern Methodist University in Dallas, TX is seeking a Grant Management Specialist to support pre-award and post-award non-financial oversight of sponsored projects. This on-campus role partners with faculty and administrators to ensure compliant proposal development and timely award processing.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of three (3) years of professional work experience is required.
• Experience in general accounting, project budgeting, and/or cost accounting is preferred.
• Experience in higher education is strongly preferred.
• Certified Research Administrator (CRA) certification is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Assist with proposal development for sponsored project proposals, developing budgets and budget justifications.
• Advise investigators on pre-award administration and grant policies.
• Prepare forms and upload materials to submission portals ensuring timely and accurate submissions.
• Assist in responding to sponsor requests during the JIT stage and manage award processing from Pre-Award to Grant Accounting.
