Job summary

Community Solutions Inc. in Windsor, CT, is seeking a Director of Grants & Communications to lead the development and management of competitive proposals and organizational communications.

This role coordinates input across programs, writes and edits proposals, oversees submission deadlines, and guides CSI's brand voice across digital channels, social media, and announcements. Full-time, exempt, with a base salary around $83,792.46.

Qualifications

• BA degree in human service, marketing, communications or related field.
• Exceptional writing, editing, proofreading, and verbal communication skills.
• Experience developing content for digital communications, including social media.
• Experience proposing complex, deadline-driven materials and responding to government RFPs preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and actively participate in writing, editing, development, and submission of competitive proposals.
• Manage multiple proposal and communications projects and meet deadlines.
• Develop high-quality written content for proposals, digital platforms, and organizational storytelling.
• Collaborate with staff across departments to obtain information and craft content.
• Review RFPs and funding requirements to create accurate, compelling responses.
