Seminole County, Florida seeks a professional to provide fiscal and budgetary services in support of the Public Works CIP and related areas. You will manage grants, develop budgets, and ensure compliance with reporting requirements, working under the Grant Supervisor and financial administration policies.

The role requires budgeting, auditing, and financial systems knowledge, plus a Florida driver’s license and the ability to interact with external auditors.

Formación

• Bachelor’s Degree in finance, accounting, business or public administration or closely related field.
• Two years grant management experience required.
• Analytical skills and knowledge of financial/administrative systems and procedures.
• Knowledge of laws and regulations related to grants and budgeting.
• Ability to prepare complex accounting reports and statements.

Responsabilidades

• Provide fiscal/budgetary services and analysis for CIP and related areas.
• Coordinate countywide grants activities, tracking and reporting.
• Develop procedures to ensure grant compliance and support divisions with grant needs.
• Monitor expenditures, budget establishment/amendment, and financial reporting.
• Assist with grant applications and annual grant budget development.
• Coordinate CIP budget activities and support financial planning for CIP program.
• Perform financial oversight and audit responses with external auditors.
• Attend required Seminole County trainings and maintain records.
