Granicus, a leading Govtech SaaS provider, is seeking a Strategic Account Manager for the Public Sector in the United States. The role focuses on nurturing existing accounts, expanding within the territory, and acting as a trusted advisor to government clients.

You will manage renewals, collaborate with marketing, and lead cross-functional pursuit teams to win large opportunities while ensuring customer success and long-term partnerships.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of Public Sector sales experience in IT, information services, or business services on a subscription model.
• Proven effectiveness selling through partners, resellers and/or integrators.
• Proficient in CRM to track leads, opportunities and pipelines.
• Strong prospecting and opportunity closure skills.
• Comfortable in navigating complex, multi-stakeholder sales environments.

Responsibilities

• Nurture and maintain complex existing accounts and expand within the territory.
• Serve as trusted advisor to clients, offering strategic guidance.
• Negotiate renewals and service agreements, ensuring client retention.
• Collaborate with Marketing to ensure a robust lead pipeline.
• Lead pursuit teams for larger opportunities and coordinate internal resources.
