Qualifications

• 8 years of experience in government relations or law.

• Experience with Federal and/or State Legislatures and Regulatory Agencies.
• Knowledge of legislative processes and procedures.
• Advanced understanding of federal, state, and local politics.
• Experience advocating on behalf of an organization or issue.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and web tools.

Responsibilities

• Analyzes proposed legislation and coordinates strategies for USAA's objectives.
• Engages with legislators and stakeholders to advance policy priorities.
• Develops legislative strategy and manages lobbying execution.
• Provides updates on legislative activity to leadership.
