Job summary

General Dynamics Information Technology, Inc. is seeking a Senior Contracts Administrator in Falls Church, VA. The role focuses on cradle-to-grave management of federally funded contracts, ensuring compliance with SBA, FAR/DFARS, and applicable laws.

You will lead negotiations, support proposals, and coordinate with subcontractors and internal teams to drive compliant, risk-aware contracting activities. The successful candidate will have 5+ years of DoW government contract experience, a Secret

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or 4+ years of additional relevant work experience in lieu of a degree.
• 5+ years of DoW government contracts experience.
• Secret security clearance or higher required.
• US citizenship required.
• Travel: Less than 10% travel.
• Hybrid Work Location: Onsite three days per week in Falls Church, VA.

Responsibilities

• Administer cradle-to-grave management of assigned contracts, including contract modifications and compliance with prime contract requirements.
• Lead and support proposal activities: analyze solicitations, prepare summaries, assess financial risk, and prepare proposal documents.
• Advise management on contractual rights, obligations, risk mitigation, and business strategies.
• Maintain logs and reports for contract activity; ensure timely deliverables for reporting.
• Coordinate reviews with other functions; obtain approvals and signatures prior to submission or execution.
• Serve as primary point of contact between the company and customers for contractual matters.
