Job summary

Leidos in the United States is seeking a Manager, Global Supply Chain to lead a Subcontracts team supporting defense programs. You will align stakeholders, negotiate with suppliers, and integrate supplier strategies early in capture and program lifecycles to ensure on-time delivery and affordability.

The role requires a bachelor’s or advanced degree with 5+ years’ experience in government contracting, CPSR, FAR/DFARS, and a track record of driving cost savings and compliant procurement across

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience with 5+ years in relevant work.
• Master’s degree with 3+ years of relevant experience acceptable.
• Experience awarding and managing subcontracts in government systems (CPSR).
• Strong negotiating skills to maximize value and minimize risk.
• Ability to manage multiple subcontract types and interface with stakeholders.
• Experience leading subcontracts portion of proposals.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a US DoD security clearance; US citizenship.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of Subcontracts professionals and interface with Leidos management.
• Manage subcontract types, high-dollar contracts, and risk across programs.
• Negotiate and execute strategic long‑term supplier agreements.
• Collaborate with Contracts, Supply Chain, Program Management, and Finance.
• Identify and mitigate risks within the subcontract portfolio.
• Translate supplier data into insights, savings, and improved compliance.
