Job summary

API Heat Transfer is seeking a Sourcing Manager to drive procurement excellence across global vendor networks. You will own SIOP, sourcing, logistics, and inventory control while collaborating with engineering to ensure material availability and on-time delivery.

Ideal candidates have 10+ years in end-to-end supply chain leadership, strong negotiation skills, and experience with ERP systems (PLEX preferred). This on-site role is based in Buffalo, NY, USA.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, economics, supply chain management, engineering, or similar.
• CPSM, CPM or related certification preferred.
• 10+ years of end-to-end supply chain leadership experience.
• Experience with Mexico and China a plus.
• Experience with low volume high mix, engineered-to-order environment preferred.
• Proficiency with ERP systems; PLEX preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement procurement processes to drive improvements in lead times, costs, cash flow and service.
• Lead sourcing activities to onboard and validate new vendors globally.
• Collaborate with engineering for quotes to ensure lead times and material availability.
• Manage demand with manufacturing and supplier capacity to meet customer requirements.
• Optimize logistics and inventory levels while meeting delivery requirements.
• Prepare managerial reports and budgets to guide supply chain decisions.
• Represent site on API functional councils and share best practices.
