Job summary

Rivian is seeking a Senior Global Supply Manager to own end-to-end sourcing strategy for vehicle programs and manage lifecycle procurement. You will negotiate terms, lead RFx activities, and collaborate with Tier 1 suppliers to protect Rivian’s financial and production interests.

This onsite role is based in Irvine, CA and reports to the Group Manager for Raw Materials Procurement. You will drive supplier maturation, manage cross-functional stakeholders, and oversee risk mitigation across

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, or Engineering with 3+ years of relevant experience.
• Domain expertise in negotiation and technical experience for the assigned commodity.
• Experience with reverse logistics and understanding of recycled materials, not virgin materials.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end sourcing projects for medium to large vehicle spend.
• Place RFIs/RFPs and purchase orders and drive process improvements.
• Develop commodity strategies and monitor market trends to mitigate risks.
• Negotiate most commercial terms and LTAs with some legal involvement.
• Build relationships with Tier 1 suppliers and manage cross-functional stakeholders.
• Lead small projects with autonomy and manage risk.
