Job summary

Hanwha Q CELLS Georgia is seeking a Purchasing Specialist to organize, control, and monitor purchasing activities for machine parts, MRO, and packaging. You will implement purchasing strategies to maximize operating result while collaborating with cross-functional teams at the GA Plant and other Hanwha subsidiaries.

The ideal candidate has 1–5 years of purchasing experience, is bilingual in Korean and English, and can travel as needed. SAP and MS Office proficiency are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field (Supply Chain, Business, Engineering).
• 1–5 years of purchasing or procurement experience.
• Strong knowledge of purchasing and/or procurement.
• Willingness to travel domestically and overseas.
• Bilingual in Korean and English.

Responsibilities

• Track the progress of PO from creation to delivery.
• Check PR/PO/GR in SAP (Monthly AP Closing included).
• Determine Purchase Orders based on sales forecasts and stock level.
• Follow up payments and coordinate with Finance Department.
• Negotiate with suppliers and optimize logistics costs.
• Supervise supplier performance on lead time, reliability, and flexibility.
• Participate in production planning and capacity optimization.
