Job summary

Global Payments Inc. is seeking an Events Manager to drive high-impact events that strengthen client relationships, elevate brand awareness, and generate opportunities worldwide.

You will own end-to-end event programs, collaborate with marketing, product, and creative teams, and optimize ROI based on data and feedback. You will manage budgets, vendor partnerships, and multifunctional teams while championing continuous improvement and scalability of the events portfolio.

Qualifications

• 4-6 years of event planning or trade show management experience, including ownership of events with 200-500+ attendees.
• Proven ability to manage multiple mid-to-large scale events, meet goals, deadlines and budget expectations.
• Strong vendor negotiation, budget management and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Experience using event or project management platforms (Cvent, Wrike, Monday.com) to manage delivery.
• Excellent communication, collaboration and customer service skills; able to lead initiatives and influence stakeholders.

• Lead high-impact events from strategy through execution to strengthen brand and achieve business outcomes.
• Drive event ROI by aligning programs to objectives and using insights to optimize future results.
• Influence cross-functional teams to create cohesive event experiences for clients and the organization.

• Champion continuous improvement by leveraging data and industry trends to expand reach and effectiveness.
