Job summary

Socket.dev is seeking a Communications Director in New York City to lead strategic communications, writing and media relations for a global audience. You will collaborate across Nexxen’s Marketing & Communications framework to drive messaging for product launches and corporate announcements with a strong emphasis on external communications.

The role requires 6–8 years in ad tech or PR, exceptional communication skills, and English fluency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in journalism, PR or marketing; master’s preferred.
• 6–8 years in ad tech or PR agency.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; AP style writing.
• Established relationships with journalists in business, tech and advertising.
• Strong knowledge of marketing, PR, advertising and social trends.

Responsibilities

• Develop and lead strategic communications plans and messaging for corporate announcements and product launches globally.
• Manage earned and paid media opportunities to increase visibility.
• Coordinate with global Marketing & Communications to execute go-to-market PR and marketing efforts.
• Lead awards programs and speaking opportunities for thought leadership.
• Build relationships with internal and external stakeholders and manage partners/sponsors.
