Job summary

Empower is seeking a Generative AI–Enterprise Architect to own the architectural strategy for AI capabilities across the enterprise, shaping how data, knowledge, and metadata are organized and accessed.

You will define data flows from source systems to AI-enabled interactions, set integration patterns with customer touchpoints and internal tools, and collaborate with engineering and platform teams to ensure scalable, secure AI systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS/Engineering/Data Science.
• 10+ years in data architecture or enterprise design.
• Experience owning architectural direction across teams.
• Knowledge of data platforms including Snowflake.
• Understanding of retrieval and search at scale.
• Familiarity with Generative AI and agent concepts.
• Security, governance, and access control expertise.

Responsibilities

• Own the architectural strategy for Generative AI across the enterprise.
• Define how enterprise data and metadata are organized.
• Outline data flow from sources to AI-enabled interactions.
• Set direction for embedding AI in touchpoints and tools.
• Develop Agent Framework Architecture.
• Define domain models for contextual reasoning.
• Ensure knowledge representation is versioned and maintained.
• Coordinate retrieval systems for models and contexts.
• Establish multi-step AI workflows and escalation paths.
• Assist RAI team in evaluating AI outputs.
• Drive consolidation of fragmented data/tools to coherent patterns.
