Job summary

Infosys is seeking a Senior Technologist to lead and deliver complex technology initiatives across software design, cloud-native architectures, and AI systems. The role emphasizes hands-on leadership, architectural judgment, and mentoring teams to achieve high-quality, scalable solutions.

Responsibilities include crafting reusable components, PoCs for new tech, and ensuring delivery excellence in a fast-paced, global delivery environment.

Qualifications

• Core development & architecture experience.
• Analysis and Design skills with experience in core development, design & architect experience, implement design patterns, architecture patterns.
• Experience in developing and applying generative AI models.
• Understanding of machine learning fundamentals, deep learning architectures, and natural language processing (NLP).
• Experience in programming languages like Python and familiarity with deep learning frameworks like TensorFlow or PyTorch.
• Design, develop, and deploy generative AI models for various applications.
• Fine-tune pre-trained LLMs for specific tasks and domains, ensuring optimal performance and alignment with business goals.
• Collaborate with data scientists, software engineers, and product managers to define project requirements, ensure technical feasibility, and integrate AI solutions seamlessly.
• Stay up to date on the latest advancements in generative AI research and contribute to AI capabilities.
• Champion responsible AI development practices.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate project requirements and use cases to deliver high-quality code and production-ready components.
• Design technology frameworks for complex scenarios and reusable assets; conduct design reviews.
• Deliver high-quality code across applications, databases, and integrations.
• Optimize code, debug complex routines, and develop code generators for reusable components.
• Work closely with other teams to align on goals and implementations.
• Provide technical guidance to peers and maintain delivery quality.
• Identify PoCs for emerging technologies and deliver deployment-ready solutions.
• Evaluate and implement technical services to meet QoS and KPIs.
• Create reusable assets and defect-free, high-impact code.
• Stay updated on emerging technologies to inform decisions and outcomes.
• Support test automation and drive quality improvements.
