Job summary

Mondrian Alpha, a global multi-strategy hedge fund in New York, seeks a CPA with 2–3 years of financial-services audit or accounting experience to join its finance platform. You will own key financial reporting deliverables across funds and investment strategies, working with senior stakeholders to shape reporting infrastructure.

This role offers broad exposure beyond traditional audit, partnering with Tax, Treasury, Operations, Valuations, Legal, Compliance and Investor Relations.

Qualifications

• CPA with 2–3 years of financial-services audit or accounting experience.
• Strong technical accounting and financial-reporting knowledge.
• Experience with investment funds or complex financial institutions is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own key financial reporting deliverables across a diverse range of funds and investment strategies.
• Build a detailed understanding of the firm’s products, structures and economics, becoming a trusted point of contact for complex accounting matters.
• Partner with Tax, Treasury, Operations, Valuations, Legal, Compliance and Investor Relations on business-critical reporting and fund initiatives.
• Lead relationships with auditors, administrators and other external providers, challenging outputs and driving high standards.
• Analyze complex financial information, identify issues and turn accounting data into clear, commercially relevant insight.
• Improve the firm’s reporting infrastructure by strengthening controls, automating workflows and reducing manual processes.
• Work directly with senior management on ad-hoc projects, new products and initiatives linked to the continued growth of the platform
