Job summary

800flowerscareers is seeking a Senior Load Planner to coordinate inbound and outbound freight across multiple divisions. You will manage carrier communication, load optimization, and SAP/OTM updates to ensure on-time, cost-effective shipping execution.

The role requires 3–5+ years in transportation or logistics, proficiency with SAP (EWM), OTM, OMS, and advanced Excel. You will support cross-functional teams and monitor shipment trends to prevent delays.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of experience in transportation, logistics, or supply chain planning.
• Proficient in SAP (EWM), OTM, OMS and related transportation/logistics systems.
• Strong understanding of freight modes: small parcel, LTL, and TL.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Teams proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate truckload shipping with Line Haul Carriers and FedEx.
• Communicate with carriers to update Transportation Management Systems and calendars.
• Conduct inbound and outbound load planning for multiple business units.
• Maintain Excel-based calendars and dock schedules.
• Collaborate with peers and supervisors to support workflow.
• Monitor and report trends/issues to proactively avoid delays.
• Provide timely information to internal and external stakeholders.
• Promote cross-departmental collaboration and clear communication.
• Review POs and Stock Transfer Orders to create SAP deliveries.
