Job summary

The Newcastle Search Group has been engaged by a mid-market, global manufacturing organization in the western suburbs of Chicago to hire a Manager of FP&A. This role partners with finance and operations leadership to provide insight into revenue, profitability, and cost performance across multiple sites.

You will lead the annual operating plan, forecasts, standard costing, and expense management, while developing a remote finance team member and serving as a strategic partner to senior leaders

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• Minimum seven years of progressive accounting and finance experience in manufacturing or multi-site environment.
• Experience supporting manufacturing operations, including FP&A, cost analysis, and operational performance management.

Responsibilities

• Lead monthly financial reporting and forecasting across multiple sites.
• Since
• Consolidate financial results and prepare variance analyses on revenue, gross margin, and operating expenses.
• Develop and consolidate the annual operating plan, periodic forecasts, and standard cost updates.
• Partner with operational teams to develop revenue projections and support demand and production planning.
• Work with leaders to manage operating expenses and capital spending while ensuring financial controls.
• Consolidate working capital and capital expenditure requirements and evaluate timing.
• Provide financial support for strategic initiatives and special projects.
• Support internal and external audit requirements and strengthen control environment.
• Provide cross-functional support within finance and across processes as needed.
• Identify opportunities to improve financial processes, reporting, planning capabilities, and performance.
