Job summary

Canopy A&D, based in Irvine, CA, is seeking an FP&A Manager to join its Finance organization. You will partner with Accounting, Operations, and leadership to deliver budgets, forecasts, and insightful analyses in a fast-paced aerospace environment.

The role emphasizes building financial models, rolling forecasts, and 13-week cash projections across multiple entities, with responsibility for monthly reporting and strategic planning.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
• 5+ years of FP&A or finance experience.
• Experience developing budgets and forecasts.
• Experience with a 13-week cash flow forecast.
• Experience in multi-entity consolidation and reporting.
• Strong financial modeling and analytical skills.
• Advanced MS Excel and financial analysis tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead annual budgeting and planning across multiple entities.
• Develop rolling forecasts and key drivers for management visibility.
• Create and maintain 13-week cash flow forecasts with cross-functional input.
• Consolidate financials across entities for budgets and forecasts.
• Prepare monthly variance analyses and financial reporting.
• Build financial models and scenario analyses to support decisions.
• Translate performance into actionable financial insights with business leaders.
• Monitor cash flow, working capital, capex, and expenses vs. budget.
• Support strategic initiatives and capital allocation decisions.
• Develop dashboards and KPIs for visibility into performance.
• Collaborate with Accounting on accurate management reporting.
• Provide ad hoc analyses and participate in strategic planning.
