Itron, Inc. is seeking an experienced FP&A Principal to partner with the Networked Solutions PBU and lead strategic financial planning, reporting, and analysis.

The role drives data-informed decisions and collaborates with senior leadership to support growth and operational excellence. Responsibilities include annual budgeting, long-range plans, forecasting, and model development to optimize profitability and performance across global operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, or related field.
• 5+ years FP&A, strategic finance, or similar analytical role.
• Advanced Excel with modeling and forecasting capabilities.
• Experience producing reports, budgets, forecasts, and variance analyses.
• Ability to translate data into actionable business insights.
• Experience building complex financial models for planning.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Networked Solutions PBU leadership to provide strategic financial guidance.
• Prepare monthly and quarterly analyses for global consolidations and variances.
• Lead annual budgets, long-range plans, and forecasts.
• Improve budgeting, forecasting, reporting for efficiency and scale.
• Analyze revenue, profitability, supply chain, and product investments.
• Develop and maintain complex financial models for executive decisions.
• Collaborate with global functions to reflect evolving needs in plans.
• Communicate insights to OpEx leaders and drive actionable solutions.
• Deliver performance reporting to promote accountability and improvement.
• Leverage AI-enabled tools to enhance accuracy and insights.
• Validate data, troubleshoot issues, and ensure accuracy of results.
• Lead or support strategic projects with financial analysis.
• Build relationships with cross-functional partners to influence decisions.
