Job summary

The New Terminal One at JFK seeks a highly analytical Deputy Financial Controller to lead budgeting, rolling forecasts, and performance insights for the project finance team.

You will partner with the Controller and Finance Director, manage a 3–5 person team, and drive FP&A modernization, dashboards, and cross-functional collaboration with department heads. Onsite at JFK, you will report to executive leadership and shape the terminal's financial strategy as construction advances.

Qualifications

• Advanced Excel and data modeling skills are required.
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities for executives and cross-functional partners.
• Experience solving complex discrepancies and driving root-cause analysis.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
• Bachelor's degree in accounting/finance or related field is required.

Responsibilities

• Lead annual budgeting, multi-year plans, and rolling forecasts.
• Align financial plans with corporate strategy across departments.
• Monitor cash flow and working capital with project finance.
• Develop executive dashboards and provide performance commentary.
• Coordinate month-end and year-end close processes and audits.
