Job summary

Mixpanel, Inc. is seeking a high-impact Strategic Finance Lead in a hybrid role based in the SF Bay Area or NYC. You will own end-to-end FP&A for a major domain, drive scalable planning processes, and partner with senior leaders to shape data-driven decisions.

Responsibilities include building robust financial models, validating assumptions with business partners, and translating strategy into forecasts and KPIs to guide growth and resource allocation.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of FP&A or Strategic Finance experience at a B2B SaaS company.
• Ability to design planning processes and frameworks and influence decisions across teams.
• Expert-level financial modeling skills; fluent in SaaS unit economics, driver-based forecasting, 3-statement modeling, and scenario analysis.
• Strong GTM experience and partner with senior leaders on budget strategy and investments.

Responsibilities

• Support end-to-end financial planning for GTM from brief to delivery with quality standards.
• Define 6–12 month financial strategy for your domain with clear assumptions and leading indicators.
• Build business cases for major investments with clear assumptions and risk analysis.
• Design and improve planning processes, tooling, and data definitions across teams.
• Support cross-functional analyses with milestones, resolving forecast disagreements with clear narratives.
• Partner with budget owners to ensure data quality and alignment on assumptions.
