Job summary

Stout is seeking a senior Finance & FP&A leader to guide strategic FP&A engagements for middle-market and PE-backed clients, shaping budgeting processes and performance visibility. You will partner with CFOs and sponsors to drive actionable insights and lead cross-functional initiatives.

You will mentor junior staff, help transform OTC/PTP/RTR processes, and leverage ERP/KPI tools to deliver robust financial reporting and analyses.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of FP&A or finance leadership experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance; MBA preferred.
• CPA, CFA or MBA designation preferred.
• Experience with private equity-backed businesses and M&A diligence.
• Familiarity with FP&A processes: budgeting, forecasting, long-range planning, and reporting.
• ERP and data automation knowledge (NetSuite/SAP/Oracle/Sage Intacct; BI tools a plus).

Responsibilities

• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning for PE-backed clients.
• Build driver-based models, cash flow forecasts, ROI analyses.
• Develop KPI dashboards and management reporting packages.
• Advise on OTC/PTP/RTR processes and ERP optimization.
• Support buy-side/sell-side due diligence and post‑close integration.
• Lead finance transformation and data automation initiatives.
