Job summary

Republic Services seeks a Finance Support Manager to lead planning, forecasting, and analytics across the organization. You will partner with stakeholders to analyze performance, develop insights, and drive strategic decisions.

Responsibilities include budgeting, scenario modeling, KPI dashboards, and financial reporting for senior leadership. Strong Excel, Power BI/Tableau/SQL skills and excellent communication are essential.

Qualifications

• MBA with a concentration in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field.
• Strong analytical, quantitative, and financial modeling skills.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, modeling, scenario analysis).
• Strong presentation and communication skills with ability to simplify complex information.
• High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Ability to work through others to accomplish goals and objectives.

Responsibilities

• Support the development of the annual operating plan, quarterly forecasts, and long-range financial models.
• Provide scenario modeling, sensitivity analysis, and profitability assessments to support strategic planning.
• Maintain planning models and ensure data integrity and accuracy.
• Prepare monthly and quarterly financial reporting packages for senior leadership.
• Analyze financial results, variances, and performance drivers; communicate insights clearly.
• Develop KPI dashboards and management reports to track business performance.
• Assist with pricing and profitability analysis, bids, and market development projects.
• Support Area Director of Finance during budget and interim forecasting process.
• Build and enhance financial models to evaluate initiatives, capex, pricing, and allocations.
• Leverage Excel, Power BI, Tableau, or SQL to improve reporting efficiency and analytics.
• Identify opportunities to streamline financial processes and standardize reporting.
• Assist with audits and respond to information requests from corporate functions.
