Job summary

Stanley Black & Decker, Inc. is seeking a Finance Director, T&O FP&A to lead budgeting, forecasting, and analysis for the Tools & Outdoor segment.

This hybrid/remote role in Towson, MD, requires strong FP&A leadership, cross-functional partnership, and capability to deliver actionable financial insights for executive audiences. The ideal candidate has a BS in Accounting or Finance, 10 years of experience with at least 5 in FP&A, and proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint,

Qualifications

• BS in Accounting or Finance is required.
• 10 years of work experience, including at least 5 years in Finance/FP&A.
• Strong analytical skills and problem-solving ability; excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience leading and developing a high-performing FP&A team; strong Excel/PowerPoint; Hyperion EPM and HFM familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Execute budgeting, forecasting, and analysis for the T&O FP&A function to support strategic decisions.
• Lead monthly and quarterly close, reporting, forecasting, and planning cycles.
• Prepare and deliver clear financial presentations for senior leadership and board audiences.
• Drive continuous improvement in financial reporting and planning processes.
• Partner with Operations Finance and other functions to align forecasts and KPIs.
• Provide strategic FP&A leadership and develop the team capabilities.
