Job summary

Aspen Technology in Bedford, MA is seeking a Director of FP&A to lead budgeting, forecasting and long-range financial planning. You will partner with the executive team to drive financial strategy and performance, building robust models and actionable insights across the business.

The role requires 5+ years in financial planning and analysis, strong Excel/PowerPoint skills, and experience with Hyperion tools.

Qualifications

• MBA is highly valued; CPA and/or CFA qualification a plus.
• 5+ years of relevant experience with financial projections and business modeling.
• Proven ability to translate business operations into financial models.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Act as trusted advisor to the VP FP&A and executive team.
• Partner with business leaders to evaluate initiatives and incorporate financial impacts into plans.
• Maintain long-term financial projection models for income statement, balance sheet, and cash flow.
• Direct process and system changes to capture, analyze, and report revenue and non-GAAP metrics.
• Prepare analyses of results to budget, forecast, and prior periods.
• Coordinate Board and executive-level presentation materials and schedules.
• Mentor FP&A team and shape strategic direction of the group.
• Design and produce ad-hoc reports as required.
