Job summary

NETGEAR is seeking a Senior Director of FP&A to own the consolidation of the company’s P&L and drive AOP, forecasting, and actuals reporting. This leader will modernize FP&A into a forward-looking, decision-support function and own the AI-enabled technology roadmap.

Hybrid role; onsite 3 days/week at the San Jose HQ. The ideal candidate brings 10–15+ years of FP&A leadership, strong systems experience, and exceptional strategic influence across the business.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; MBA/CPA/CMA preferred.
• 10–15+ years of progressive FP&A experience with complex P&L consolidations at senior leadership level, including exposure to board and earnings prep.
• Fluent with modern financial systems (Oracle, Anaplan, Adaptive Insights) and practical AI/automation exposure.
• Strong leadership with ability to influence peers and senior leadership without direct authority.
• Strategic, analytical mindset and ability to translate data into actionable business plans.

Responsibilities

• Evolve FP&A into a forward-looking decision-support function by integrating financial, operational, commercial, customer, and market signals.
• Create executive decision products, including rolling forecasts, momentum indicators, exception-based reporting, and automated narratives.
• Oversee P&L consolidation, ensure accuracy and board-ready reporting.
• Lead AOP scenario planning and in-quarter forecasting with variance analysis.
• Own FP&A technology roadmap and automation to improve workflows; apply AI with human oversight.
• Develop a modern FP&A organization with strong analytics, data modeling, and cross-functional partnership.
