Responsabilidades

• Partner with executive leadership to drive financial performance and strategic initiatives.
• Lead FP&A, budgeting, forecasting, long-range planning, and financial modeling.
• Analyze performance across entities/locations to identify trends and risks.
• Develop KPI reporting, dashboards, and operational metrics.
• Provide recommendations on profitability, pricing, and labor utilization.
• Support acquisition integration and executive-level reporting for PE stakeholders.
• Monitor actuals vs budgets and forecasts; perform variance analysis.
• Drive process improvements and strengthen financial reporting capabilities.
• Collaborate with accounting, operations, sales, and leadership to enable growth.
• Assist cash flow planning and working capital management.

Position Summary

The Financial Controller will serve as a key business partner to executive leadership, providing financial insight, operational support, and strategic guidance across a multi-entity, multi-location organization. This role is heavily focused on financial planning & analysis, budgeting, forecasting, business performance, and decision support rather than traditional ownership of the accounting close process.

The ideal candidate will bring a blended background in accounting, finance, and FP&A, along with experience operating in a private equity-backed environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with executive and operational leadership to drive financial performance and support strategic initiatives.
• Heavily involved with FP&A functions, including leading annual budgeting, forecasting, long-range planning, and financial modeling processes.
• Analyze business performance across multiple entities and locations, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities.
• Develop and enhance KPI reporting, dashboards, and operational metrics.
• Provide actionable recommendations related to profitability, pricing, labor utilization, and operational efficiency.
• Support acquisition integration activities, including financial analysis and performance tracking.
• Prepare executive-level reporting packages and presentations for senior leadership and private equity stakeholders.
• Monitor financial results versus budget and forecast, providing variance analysis and business insights.
• Drive process improvements and strengthen financial reporting capabilities across the organization.
• Collaborate closely with accounting, operations, sales, and leadership teams to support company growth objectives.
• Assist with cash flow planning, working capital management, and strategic financial initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 8+ years of progressive accounting, finance, and FP&A experience.
• Experience supporting multi-entity and multi-location organizations.
• Private equity-backed company experience strongly preferred.
• Strong B2B business model experience required.
• Proven ability to influence business decisions through financial analysis and partnership.
• Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills.
• Experience with ERP systems and business intelligence/reporting tools.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with executive leadership.

Preferred Background

• Combination of public accounting and industry finance experience.
• Experience within business services, distribution, logistics, rental services, or other operationally intensive environments.
• Demonstrated success partnering with operations leaders to improve financial and business performance.
