Job summary

1-800 Contacts seeks a seasoned Operations Analytics/FP&A professional to own forecasting, budgeting, and long-range planning for its Customer Department. You will partner with Customer Leadership, Finance, and executives to turn data into strategic decisions, driving efficiency and financial performance.

You’ll build models, dashboards, and reports, presenting insights to senior leaders and shaping the customer experience strategy.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in Operations Analytics, FP&A, or similar.
• Experience forecasting and LRPs, plus managing department P&Ls.
• Strong ability to connect operational metrics to financial outcomes.
• Advanced Excel skills for financial modeling and reporting.
• Excellent communication to present to senior leaders.

Responsibilities

• Own the financial planning process for the Customer Department (budgets, forecasts, LRPs).
• Manage departmental and channel P&Ls and monitor budget vs. actuals.
• Analyze operational performance across inbound/outbound channels and connect KPIs to finances.
• Serve as analytics partner to Customer Department leadership; deliver actionable insights.
• Build financial models, dashboards, and recurring reports for leadership visibility.
• Present forecasts, trends, and recommendations to executives; explain assumptions.
• Collaborate with Customer Operations, Finance, and cross-functional teams to align goals.
• Evaluate compensation/incentive programs and model financial impact.
• Identify opportunities to improve reporting and automation in processes.
