Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a skilled FP&A professional to lead financial planning, forecasting, and reporting for business clients. You will develop comprehensive plans, perform variance analyses, and provide executive-level insights and recommendations.

Ideal candidates will have 4+ years in finance/FP&A, strong Excel skills, GAAP knowledge, and experience with Essbase and Hyperion tools. This role focuses on profitability, cost management, and strategic business analysis in a technology/telecom

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or 4+ years of work experience.
• 4+ years of relevant experience in finance/FP&A.
• Strong Excel skills and Office familiarity.
• Knowledge of GAAP, FASB, and financial statement analysis.

Responsibilities

• Prepare final financial plans, forecasts, reporting, and analysis for business clients.
• Develop Business Plan, Commitment View, and Best View, including analysis, distribution, and management recommendations.
• Prepare monthly analyses of business trends, budget variance, financial results, and KPIs.
• Analyze business performance and recommend action plans for gap closure, cost management, revenue growth, and profitability.
• Develop capital planning models, reports, and templates.
• Create cash flow statements and ad-hoc cash flow analyses and trends.
• Define data requirements and sources for planning, forecasting, and reporting processes.
• Conduct strategic business analysis with overlays and commentary.
• Create performance reports with business insights, ad-hoc analysis, and executive recommendations.
• Identify scenarios, risks, and opportunities affecting business performance.
• Create profitability and costing models and communicate updates to the Center of Excellence.
• Develop and analyze business-client economic drivers such as customer churn and renewals.
• Model and assess performance scenarios to analyze risks and opportunities.
• Communicate clearly and concisely with business partners.
