Qualifications

• 1–2 years purchasing or related experience.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and identify suppliers of product, negotiate price and quantity terms and establish long-term contracts.
• Maintain established service levels for product in-stock.
• Assist with special order requests.
• Select vendors based on continuous supply, service level, market responsiveness, product quality and value.
• Maintain relationships with vendors by resolving invoicing, product, or delivery issues.
• Select products based on market fit, performance, alternate sources, and vendor reputation.
• Negotiate prices, quantities, and long-term contracts; support distribution centers during emergencies.
• Provide product and pricing information to sales and advise on pricing structures.
