Placements24 seeks a Procurement Specialist to manage sourcing of raw materials, packaging, and supplies for high-volume FMCG production in Queenstown. You will negotiate terms, manage supplier relationships, and ensure cost-effective, timely deliveries to support production schedules.

Collaborate with production, quality, and logistics teams, analyze market trends, and generate regular purchasing reports to drive continuous improvement in the supply chain.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related discipline.
• 3-5 years procurement/purchasing experience, FMCG preferred.
• Proven sourcing, negotiation, and supplier-management experience.
• ERP systems and MS Office proficiency, especially Excel.
• Strong analytical and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Source and procure raw materials, packaging components, and operational supplies for FMCG production.
• Negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery schedules with suppliers to optimize cost and efficiency.
• Manage supplier relationships, assess performance, and address issues promptly.
• Prepare and issue purchase orders with accuracy and compliance to standards.
• Conduct market analysis to identify new suppliers and cost-saving opportunities.
• Collaborate with production, quality, and logistics to ensure material availability and meet demand.
• Maintain procurement records and generate regular purchasing reports.
