Job summary

EDP in Chicago is seeking a Strategic Sourcing & Procurement expert to lead sourcing across tires, fuel, parts, fittings, lubricants, and MRO, partnering with operations, maintenance, and finance.

You’ll run end-to-end RFPs, negotiate contracts, build supplier scorecards, and analyze spend data to identify cost savings and TCO reductions.

Expect ~25% travel, onsite in Chicago, and a starting compensation of $105,000, with comprehensive health, retirement, and wellbeing benefits.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in strategic sourcing, procurement, or supply chain.
• Hands-on RFP management and contract negotiation.
• Ability to analyze spend data and derive insights.
• Cross-functional collaboration with operations or technical stakeholders.
• Willingness to travel ~25% and work onsite in Chicago.

Responsibilities

• Review current supplier contracts, spend data, and ongoing sourcing initiatives.
• Lead end-to-end RFP processes: scoping, bid evaluation, supplier selection.
• Negotiate contracts with clear targets and track results against commitments.
• Develop supplier scorecards and address underperformance with improvement plans.
• Partner with operations, maintenance, and finance to align sourcing with realities.
