Children’s Nebraska is seeking a Revenue Cycle professional to support self-pay and governmental billing processes. You will assist families with financial options and Medicaid applications, coordinate referrals, and help with payment plans.

The role requires strong billing knowledge, four years of related experience, and excellent communication across teams. This on-site position offers opportunities for growth within the Revenue Integrity and Financial Advocacy areas.

Competenze

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Associate's degree preferred.
• Minimum four years’ experience in patient registration, billing and reimbursement processes, or clinical operations.
• Previous customer service experience required.
• Knowledge of hospital and professional billing, collection and reimbursement requirements.
• Ability to review, interpret and understand managed care contracts with third-party payors.
• Intermediate computer skills including spreadsheets and word processing.

Mansioni

• Assist patients with applying for benefits or financial assistance.
• Meet with families to review statements and payment plans.
• Collect on accounts and set up payment plans.
• Coordinate referrals and counsel on payment options (Medicaid, Marketplace, etc.).
• Provide patient estimates for billing compliance.
• Document activities in EPIC and communicate with Revenue Cycle teams.
• Review pending Medicaid/SSI applications and update eligibility in EPIC.
