Job summary

EverBank N.A. is seeking a Financial Reporting Analyst in Charlotte, NC to help prepare analyses of the company’s financial results. The role involves financial modeling, forecasting, and ad hoc reporting to inform senior management decisions.

Responsibilities include assisting with monthly/quarterly/annual reports in compliance with GAAP, maintaining controls for accurate reporting, and supporting external audits and SOX requirements.

Qualifications

• 2 years of prior experience in an accounting or finance role.
• Strong working knowledge of SEC and U.S. GAAP and financial statement preparation.

Responsibilities

• Assists in preparing financial models and calculating key metrics that analyze monthly financial results.
• Assists with completing forecasts and modeling and ensures results are timely and accurate.
• Assists with completing re-forecasting activities and updating/evolving forecast models.
• Participates in general ledger analysis during the closing process to help ensure financial statements are accurate.
• Supports the preparation of ad hoc departmental reports that analyze departmental financial results versus budget/forecasts.
• Drafts financial reports and presentations for management that inform business and financial decisions.
• Seeks guidance from management regarding challenges that require more advanced knowledge.
• Assists with the preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports in compliance with GAAP and regulatory standards.
• Assists with the execution of controls to ensure the accuracy of financial reporting.
