Job summary

Naval Nuclear Laboratory seeks an experienced Business Professional within the Quality, Performance & Improvement (QPI) DMO to enhance financial and planning data integration, collaborating with IT leads, finance, and project managers. The role supports budget planning, financial execution coordination, performance monitoring, and stakeholder engagement.

A Bachelor's or Master’s degree with relevant experience and strong communication are required, with a competitive benefits package and hybrid

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 6+ years of relevant experience, or Master's degree with 4+ years.
• Experience coordinating with IT leads, finance, and project managers/analysts.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Support ongoing financial needs of the QPI directorate and improve data integration.
• Assist with annual Naval Reactors Technical Budget Plan, TWPs, and QPI portfolio updates.
• Coordinate with Financial Services and Procurement to manage financial execution.
• Monitor monthly financial performance for M&S, QPI workforce, travel, training, overtime.
• Perform accounting/finance functions to support department needs.
• Assist leads/managers with budget, procurement, and estimating challenges.
• Support DOE and Navy Source of Funds metrics.
• Liaise with Financial Services, Directorate Management Office, and SOF owners.
• Collect and maintain information on materials, services, and workforce spending.
• Work with enterprise financial systems to report financial information.
• Build and maintain relationships with company management.
