Job summary

Kinder Morgan, Inc. is seeking a Financial Analyst to join the CO2 and ETV unit in a hybrid role. You will support forecasting, budgeting, reporting, and analysis across multiple assets including RNG/LNG plants and pipelines.

The position emphasizes advanced Excel skills, model-building, and presenting insights to management. Ideal candidates have 3+ years of financial analysis experience, GAAP understanding, and a background in finance or accounting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting required.
• MBA and/or CPA preferred.
• 3+ years' experience in financial analysis and planning.
• GAAP knowledge and financial statements understanding.
• Oil and gas industry experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support the preparation and consolidation of financial data and analysis for forecasts, close cycles, budgets, QBRs, and long-range outlooks.
• Maintain and update financial models to reflect operating conditions and business needs.
• Develop sensitivity and scenario analyses.
• Analyze monthly results and monitor the close process.
• Consolidate variance explanations and investigate drivers.
• Identify financial process improvements while ensuring data accuracy.
• Assist in financial planning system implementation by documenting requirements.
• Collaborate with management across organizations to source data.
• Serve as liaison among Corporate Financial Planning and Operations groups.
• Perform ad hoc analyses as requested.
