Job summary

The Financial Planning Specialist II at Busey gathers client information, analyzes data, and prepares comprehensive financial plans with the Wealth Advisor. You will review results with clients, stay updated on tax law changes, and pursue CFP designation as needed.

You will work closely with Wealth Advisors to promote financial planning and deliver a competitive total rewards package as part of Busey’s service excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance or related field.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office and Smartsheet.
• 2–4 years of financial planning experience.
• CFP certification required or prepared to sit for the exam within 6 months of hire.
• Strong communication and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Meet with client and Wealth Advisor to gather information, input data into financial planning software, analyze data, and review the plan with the client.
• Stay current on tax law changes through research and learning activities.
• Obtain and maintain professional designations related to financial planning.
• Execute the duties of a Financial Planning Specialist I.
• Collaborate with Wealth Advisors to promote financial planning.
