Job summary

Busey is seeking a Financial Planning Specialist II in St. Louis to gather client information, analyze data, and produce detailed financial plans with the Wealth Advisor. You will present findings to clients and adjust plans accordingly.

Responsibilities include collaborating with Wealth Advisors, staying current on tax law changes, obtaining professional designations, and supporting the growth of the financial planning practice. A Bachelor’s in Finance and CFP eligibility are required.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Finance related field.
Knowledge of Microsoft Office and Smartsheet.
2–4 years’ experience in financial planning.
CFP® required or prepared to sit for the exam within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

Meet with client and Wealth Advisor to gather information, input data into financial planning software, analyze data, and review the plan with the Wealth Advisor and client.
Maintain current knowledge of tax law changes through research and learning activities.
Obtain and maintain professional designations related to financial planning.
Execute duties of a Financial Planning Specialist I.
Work closely with Wealth Advisors to promote financial planning.
