Qualifications

• Experience applying Federal Financial Management Laws, regulations, and precedents from oversight agencies (e.g., GAO, OMB, Treasury).
• Advanced knowledge of DoD and DON Financial Management Regulations, processes, and automated systems.
• Experience extracting, analyzing, and interpreting financial and program data from multiple automated systems.
• Proficiency with office automation tools to prepare complex financial reports for leadership review.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the subject matter expert and Financial Management Analyst across the budget lifecycle.
• Provide oversight of financial program evaluation and internal controls to enable effective resource allocation.
• Support all phases of budget formulation, justification, and financial operations; perform complex cost-benefit analyses.
• Apply accounting and financial reporting principles to ensure accuracy and integrity of financial information.
