Deltek Talent Management seeks a Lead Financial Systems Analyst & Tableau SME in Springfield, VA to transform federal financial data into executive insights. You will build advanced Tableau dashboards, design ETL pipelines, and model data to support senior leadership decisions and audit readiness.

The role requires 12+ years in budget/finance within IC/DOD, with at least 6 years in Tableau development and governance. You will mentor teammates and ensure data integrity for government programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field and 12+ years in budget/finance/resource management within IC or DOD
• At least 6 years of Tableau development and data visualization experience, including 1 year in IC financial environments
• Experience extracting, validating, and structuring data from federal/IC financial systems to build executive dashboards
• Proficient in Tableau Server administration, data governance, and user migrations
• Knowledge of federal regulations and audit readiness concepts
• Ability to translate complex datasets into actionable insights for senior leadership
• Strong communication and mentoring skills for team alignment

Responsabilités

• Create advanced Tableau dashboards and reports for senior managers and non-technical audiences
• Collaborate to ensure consistent data management procedures across project workstreams
• Develop and maintain financial data systems and Tableau Server environments for real-time access
• Maintain automated data files and pipelines for budgets, spend plans, and execution tracking
• Identify data issues and optimize dashboard/server performance, governance
• Derive metrics from federal data feeds to inform leadership decisions
• Ensure data integrity and completeness of analyses for agency leadership
• Identify trends and opportunities to automate reporting workflows
• Review data changes and draft recommendations for financial management policies
