Job summary

MassMutual is seeking a Financial Control Consultant who will play a key role in maintaining the integrity of financial statements through various control activities. Candidates should have a strong background in accounting and financial reporting, alongside 3+ years experience in transactional processing related to insurance products.

Qualifications

• B.S. degree in Accounting, Finance or Business or 6+ years accounting or financial reporting experience.
• 3+ years of accounting and financial reporting experience.
• Strong General Ledger knowledge (chart of accounts).

Responsibilities

• Balancing and reconciliation activities for processed transactions.
• Ensure cash control through reconciliations and transactions management.
• Oversee monthly and quarterly close processes for insurance accounting.
