Job summary

Novo Nordisk is seeking a finance-focused professional for our Petersburg, VA site to lead financial analysis, planning, and reporting. The role emphasizes internal controls, cost accounting, and business insight to support strategic decisions.

The candidate will act as SAP super user, ensure compliance with local and corporate requirements, and drive continuous process improvements across budgeting and reporting activities. Strong communication across levels is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in finance or related field with a minimum of seven (7) years of financial/accounting experience
• Thorough understanding of Cost Accounting required
• Strong ability to analyse & think strategically required
• Proficiency in preparing charts, graphs & presentations required
• Five (5) years of SAP experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide site with information and business analysis to support decision processes and follow-up on identified matters.
• Implement internal controls to ensure financial compliance and correct reporting.
• Drive financial planning and optimization; align processes to NN best practices and compliance.
• Prepare monthly management reports (MMR) for the site.
• Act as SAP super user; oversee financial internal controls for the site.
• Develop tools to improve costing transparency and FP&A processes for the site.
