Job summary

TUTCO, LLC in Cookeville, Tennessee seeks a Financial Controller to provide strategic financial leadership, drive monthly closes, and guide the local leadership team. This role reports to the Divisional Finance Director and leads a finance team across sites, delivering accurate statements and forecasts.

You will develop financial strategies, oversee controls and currency hedging, and partner with operations to optimize costs and capital investments within a global manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting or a related field.
• MBA and/or CPA is highly desirable.
• Proven experience as a Controller or in a senior finance role, preferably within the manufacturing sector.
• In-depth knowledge of GAAP and financial regulations.
• Ability to communicate complex financial information to non‑financial stakeholders.
• Manufacturing experience and ERP familiarity (SyteLine a plus).

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement financial strategies, plans, and budgets aligned with the company's goals.
• Conduct thorough financial analysis to support decision‑making, including cost analysis and forecasting.
• Evaluate investments and provide capital expenditure guidance.
• Build, lead, and develop a high‑performing finance and accounting organization.
• Establish internal controls and currency hedging programs.
• Oversee AR, AP, and financial statement preparation including segment reporting.
