Job summary

NATO’s ACT invites applications for the ACT Financial Controller position based in Norfolk. The incumbent will serve as executive agent and principal financial advisor to the Supreme Allied Commander Transformation, leading all budgeting, accounting, and financial planning activities across the command.

Responsibilities include directing the BUDFIN, ensuring sound financial management, and maintaining compliant accounting for international funds in accordance with NATO regulations.

Qualifications

• University degree required with 10+ years related experience in budgeting, accounting or financial management.
• Experience with international accounting standards and public funds management.
• Strong presentational and diplomatic skills for multi-national environments.

Responsibilities

• Act as principal financial advisor to Commanders and senior staff on budgeting and financial policy.
• Oversee budgets for ACT HQ, offices in Mons/Brussels and four sub-ordinate HQs.
• Direct ACT BUDFIN with policy development, planning, and annual budget submissions.
