Job summary

AllianceBernstein seeks a San Antonio-based Financial Compliance Reporting Analyst to support the shareholder account population and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations. You will coordinate timely processing of regulatory requirements and maintain tax form production workflows.

Responsibilities include IRS e-filing, B- and C-notices, escheatment processing, and collaboration with internal/external clients and vendors. Strong communication and detail orientation are essential.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years mutual fund or financial services experience.
• Knowledge of general tax reporting practices or regulations preferred.
• Knowledge of SEC and IRS regulatory practices a plus, but not required.
• Excellent oral and written communication, time management, problem framing, and follow-up skills.
• Demonstrated ability to multi-task and prioritize a wide range of projects.
• Strong organizational skills and conscientiousness; set priorities and complete tasks.
• High attention to detail.
• Ability to work with internal and external clients and vendors.
• Proficient use of Microsoft Office.
• Navigation of SS&C systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Execute tax form production by compiling daily, weekly, monthly, and annual audits and generating tax forms.
• Process IRS E-Filing for tax forms and validate output in SS&C systems.
• Execute IRS B-Notices, C-Notices, IRS Levies, and State Levies.
• Notify IRS of Fund openings/name changes and update SS&C systems for AB actions.
• Research state escheatment regulations and apply to AB accounts.
• Perform shareholder outreach on escheatable accounts.
• Evaluate accounts for contact resolution.
• Submit escheatable assets and details to states within regulatory timeframes.
• Process returned mail to maintain up-to-date records.
• Support other department functions as needed.
